Description
Sirena is the “Heart” of the Corcovado national park- close to the beach, but far from civilization. To get there you depart Drake Bay at 6am, you´ll reach Sirena beach after a 1 hour boat ride along the coast.
Once you arrive at the park, your naturalist guide will take you on a 5 hour hike through secondary rainforest which includes a lunch break. There is the possibility to see all 4 kinds of Monkeys (Howler, Spider, Capuchin & Squirrel Monkey) as well as Coati’s, Great Curassow, Agouti, Sloth, Anteater, Crocodile. Just to mention a few. You may also be lucky to see White-Lipped Peccaries, the Baird’s Tapir or the Puma.
You´ll return from this tour around 2:30pm.
What to wear:
Comfortable clothing (Long Pants or long sleeve shirt is optional) water shoes (for the wet landing) Closed-toed shoes (for the hike)
What to bring:
Big bottle of water, sun block, mosquito repellent and dry bag (depending the season)
