Description
Drake Bay is well known throughout the country for incredible sightings of humpback whales, two different populations of humpback whales come to reproduce. Those from the Northern Hemisphere (December-April) & the Southern (July-November).
The best season to spot them is from July to November. During the search of these great cetaceans you can spot different species of Dolphins such as; Spotted, Bottlenose or Spinner Dolphin who are at times playful and chasing around the boat! Sometimes we are lucky to follow schools of up to 1000 dolphins.
Also, you are likely to watch turtles, different species of boobies and the magnificent frigate birds.
What to wear:
Shorts, T-shit or long sleeve shirt, sandals, sun glasses
What to bring:
Sun block, hat, own bottle of water and dry bag (depending on the season)
